Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Strategy / Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 6+ years of work experience in Data Governance, Analytics, Finance, IS Management, or a related function
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and/or supporting data governance initiatives and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to leadership
  • Experience with transformational projects and delivering results (e.g., quality, time, change adoption)
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional interpersonal skills
  • Consistently high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage various priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Experience in SAP, Tableau, Cognos and/or other business intelligence tool(s) a plus
  • Data governance certification a plus (e.g., CDMP, DGCP, etc.)
Responsibilities
  • manage our cross-functional efforts across the organization and support the development of data governance strategies and processes associated with finance data and related reporting
  • help to drive a strong partnership with Nike’s Enterprise Data Governance function and facilitate our understanding and adherence to key data governance principles and protocols
  • ensure the successful activation of same within our Finance function
  • support the development and maintenance of policy documentation that anchors the Finance organization to clear data standards that align with our finance data governance framework
