Responsibilities

The Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Cancer Institute are jointly seeking a Chief ofNeuro-Oncology (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

This key position represents an outstanding opportunity within our comprehensive, academic-based multi-state healthcare system. The successful candidate will be a creative and dynamic individual with excellent leadership, research, teaching, administrative and communication skills. As well, the individual will work collaboratively with leadership in the development of multi-disciplinary and health system-wide programs.
The primary responsibilities of the Chief are to oversee administrative and financial operations for the division, lead growth of new clinical programs, and to define and implement the educational, research/scholarly, and clinical service missions of the division, department, and institute. In this role, you will report directly to the Chair of Neurology.
