Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Salesforce developer, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce Service platform and its capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Apex (including triggers, controllers and batch processing), Visualforce, Aura and LWC.
  • Experience with the following: Flow, Experience Cloud and Builder, standard and custom objects and fields (including page layouts, record types and validation rules), SOQL, SOSL, custom metadata, profiles and permission sets, functions, queues, SLDS, Einstein search and reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with API Callouts, REST and SOAP API’s and Integrations with 3rd party systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and SFDX and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Experience with source control, preferably GitHub.
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders and colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain, refactor and enhance our customized Salesforce-based application using a variety of Salesforce technologies, including: Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC.
  • Design and implement solutions that align with best practices and industry coding standards.
  • Optimize code and configuration for improved system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Design and architect custom applications, objects, and data models in Salesforce.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems, both internal and external, using REST APIs and web services.
  • Ensure that data flows smoothly between Salesforce and external platforms.
  • Create and perform system testing, unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and stability of the application.
  • Develop and formalize a deployment process that ensures stability while supporting a flexible release schedule.
  • Plan and execute Salesforce releases and upgrades.
  • Ensure a smooth transition for end-users during these updates.
  • Maintain our sandbox and production orgs.
  • Advise the Product Teams on new technologies that could be beneficial for the firm and its clients.
  • Assist the Product Teams with training and support to end-users.
  • Provide troubleshooting for the Salesforce application.
  • Mentor other software developers.
  • Assist with the administration of the firm’s Salesforce orgs.
  • Maintain documentation of technical specifications, system architecture, code changes and best practices.
