What critics are saying

Raymond James raises World Kinect price target to $34, citing margin improvement potential

World Kinect shares rose 1.3% after Raymond James raised its price target to $34 from $31, maintaining an Outperform rating. The upgrade was based on the company's potential to improve core operations, particularly highlighting opportunities for higher margins in its Land segment. The energy management company also announced it is rebranding back to its core commercial name, World Fuel, for most internal and external activities. The stock movement follows strong first-quarter 2026 results announced four days earlier, when shares jumped 13.5%. The company reported adjusted profit of $0.75 per share, beating estimates of $0.31, and revenue of $9.69 billion, exceeding forecasts by 10.4%. World Kinect is up 10.3% year-to-date but remains 10.2% below its July 2025 52-week high.

Morgan Stanley cuts World Kinect price target to $25 amid midstream risks, company misses Q4 EPS forecast

World Kinect Corporation has raised concerns among analysts despite recognition for dividend growth. On 3 March, Morgan Stanley cut its price target to $25 from $27, maintaining an Underweight rating amid near-term pullback risks for midstream equities and uncertainty from US military action against Iran. However, Wolfe Research ranked World Kinect sixth amongst small and mid-cap companies for high dividend growth and strong unlevered free cash flow yields. The Florida-based energy management company, operating in aviation, land and marine segments, posted disappointing Q4 results in February with earnings per share of $0.30, missing forecasts by $0.17. The stock has since declined approximately 8%. World Kinect expects fiscal year 2026 earnings per share between $2.20 and $2.40.
