- Enter new orders daily and weekly, process order amendments, and expedite orders.
- Resolve late shipments by reviewing order backlogs and investigate and resolve problem deliveries.
- Process credit card transactions and confirm customer orders, pricing, and delivery dates.
- Advise customers on expedite fees and maintain and respond to correspondence.
- Enter and maintain customer and sales data and prepare reports as requested.
- Provide instruction for account coverage during absences or vacations.
- Update vendor sites and customer websites.
- Issue Return Goods Authorizations and credit memos as needed.
- Review, enter, and update customer forecasts and report changes to the Accounting Manager and Sales Manager.
- Analyze customer forecasts to prevent duplicate material planning and maintain forecast accuracy, including entries and cancellations.
- Review assigned customer forecasts weekly and contact customers to clarify or resolve forecast discrepancies.
- Initiate product price quotes with Sales representatives or the Director of Business Development.
- Maintain part price information, including EAU and MOQ, review feasibility, and quote new products.
- Analyze requests for quotation and make recommendations to Sales on the business case.
- Review and compile information on production end-of-life items and implement price changes from production to service pricing.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales, Engineering, Outside Sales Representatives, and the shipping department on account activities and order progress.
- Participate in meetings with Production, Purchasing, and Engineering to monitor order progress and resolve shortages and late shipments.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
