Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required.
  • Applicants must live in Pecos, Texas, or within a 30-mile radius, or in Orla, Texas, or within a 60-mile radius.
  • The employee must be able to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods; walk on uneven and vegetated terrain; use hands to handle tools or controls; reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds and be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed.
  • The employee must have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The position requires compliance with health and safety policies, legal requirements, regulatory and environmental rules, and corporate policies.
Responsibilities
  • Wash out end-dump trucks, vacuum trucks, and roll-off boxes in an oil-based mud safety-sensitive environment.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Turn pumps on and off.
  • Identify trucks entering and exiting the wash pad.
  • Clean mud in the wash bay so it can be loaded into a haul truck.
  • Wash handrails to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Identify and report issues and problems and ensure wash-bay equipment is ready and operational.
  • Check oil in pumps.
  • Ensure washout hoses, fittings, and nozzles are secure and not cracked or compromised.
  • Ensure pumps are not leaking.
  • Check water-fill lines to washout tanks.
  • Report issues, problems, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor, superintendent, and/or HSE.
  • Assist with maintenance on all equipment, clean the scales, and keep inventory organized.
Desired Qualifications
  • Six months to one year of related experience is preferred but not required.
