Ipsen and Galderma's Dysport faces increasing competition in the global neurotoxin market from established products like Botox and newer entrants such as long-acting Daxxify from Revance Therapeutics. A new ResearchAndMarkets.com report analyses Dysport's sales trajectory through 2034 across seven major markets, including the US, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Japan. The botulinum toxin procedures market is projected to reach approximately $11.3 billion by 2028, with an estimated 8% compound annual growth rate. Galderma's neuromodulator sales reached $1.47 billion in 2025, up 14.3% year-over-year from $1.29 billion in 2024. Dysport maintains its market position through competitive pricing, clinical efficacy, and applications across both aesthetic and therapeutic indications, though Botox remains the global market leader.
Allwyn hires Media Director to further digital growth. Published on: 13th August 2026 | Last updated: 13th August 2026, 12:55 pm Swiss-based lotteries giant Allwyn has made a fresh appointment to its leadership team, hiring Xenia Olajosova as Group Media Director. Olajosova joins Allwyn from global HealthTech BD, where she led the Centre of Excellence for Marketing Communication. The company said that she brings "substantial international experience across marketing, media and transformation". It looks to be Olajosova's first role in the lottery and gambling industries, having had previous marketing roles at Procter and Gamble, Duracell and Galderma. Initially, her role will involve building and delivering the group's media strategy and supporting digital growth through leveraging Allwyn's global scale. "I am truly excited to join Allwyn at such an important moment in its journey," said Olajosova. "I look forward to working closely with colleagues across the group and our markets to bring more consistency, shared learning and value to our brand and product ambitions, while continuing to respect the local expertise and flexibility that make our teams so effective." Another change at Allwyn. Allwyn has been ramping up its UK operations since taking on the National Lottery Licence in 2024. Despite the National Lottery proving a costly burden in ways to Allwyn, the business is still set for growth globally. Continental Europe GGR came in at €1.18bn for the first quarter of 2026, up 7% from €1.1bn in Q1 2025, and net revenue hit €754m, up from €719m the previous year. Olajosova's appointment shows that the company does not plan on slowing down, however, as it looks to capitalise on further potential growth. Its scope remains global, however, with the merger with Greek firm OPAP last year setting it up as the world's largest listed lottery business and one of the largest listed gambling businesses. It also entered new fields via last year's acquisition of PrizePicks, one of the biggest daily fantasy sports (DFS) operators in the country and a newcomer to the growing prediction markets sector. Tatiana Jouanneau, Group Chief Brand Officer, Allwyn, added: "Xenia joins at a pivotal time for Allwyn as Lottery Daily continue to invest in its global brand, including the recent appointment of Forsman & Bodenfors as its global creative agency. "She brings strong experience leading large-scale media transformation programmes across complex, multi-market organisations, building strong governance and driving measurable business impact. "I am confident that her leadership will play an important role in strengthening our media capability and supporting our ambition to build one of the world's most distinctive entertainment brands through a more integrated, effective and measurable global media programme."
Galderma has received European Union approval for Restylane Shaype, the first hyaluronic acid injectable specifically designed for facial shaping on bone. The product is approved under the Medical Device Regulation for temporary augmentation of the chin region. Restylane Shaype uses Galderma's NASHA HD technology and is engineered for deep injection to build and shape on bone, delivering structural enhancement in the lower face without surgery. The product is now approved in Europe, Canada, and Brazil. In a pivotal 12-month study, 83% of people treated showed improved structure and definition at three months, with 84% of patients agreeing to repeat treatment. The product addresses growing patient concerns about lower face sagging and chin shape. The Restylane portfolio has delivered more than 77 million treatments worldwide over 30 years.
Galderma has expanded Cetaphil's Nourishing Line with two new body care products designed for sensitive skin. The Nourishing & Hydrating Lotion and Cream combine hyaluronic acid and skin-essential lipids to strengthen the skin barrier whilst delivering clinically proven glow. The launch builds on the success of Cetaphil's Nourishing Oil-to-Foam facial cleanser. Clinical and consumer testing of the lotion showed 92% of users reported softer, smoother, and more radiant skin after one use. In consumer assessments, 79% agreed their skin looked more glowy after one use. The lotion provides up to 48 hours of hydration, whilst the cream offers 72-hour hydration for normal to very dry skin. Both products are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and paraben-free. The products are now available at major retailers and online at Cetaphil.com.
Galderma reports first half 2026 financial results. With net sales reaching $3.134 billion, Galderma is on a strong trajectory in 2026 to deliver on another year of opportunities and growth. July 27, 2026 Assistant Editor Galderma Group AG announced its financial results for the first half of 2026. Flemming Ørnskov, M.D., MPH, Chief Executive Officer of Galderma, said: "Galderma delivered a strong first half of 2026, with broad-based growth across geographies and product categories, reflecting the strength of our integrated dermatology strategy. Our upcoming inclusion in the Swiss Market Index, Switzerland's leading blue-chip equity index, effective September 21, is an important milestone in our journey as a listed company and further recognition of Galderma's progress. Building on this momentum, we are raising our full-year net sales growth guidance as we continue to advance our dermatology powerhouse ambition." For the first half of 2026, Galderma achieved net sales of $3,134 million, surpassing $3 billion for the first time in the first six months of a year. Year-on-year net sales growth was 24.6% at constant currency, predominantly driven by volume and complemented by favorable mix. Net sales growth remained broad-based, with double-digit growth in most of Galderma's top 10 markets and across all product categories. Galderma continued to outperform the market in each of its product categories. For Galderma, 2026 remains a key year to capitalize on opportunities and drive net sales growth. Galderma continues to reinforce its science-led innovation and medical education in dermatology. This includes advancing its R&D pipeline across product categories, while exploring external opportunities. It also includes generating new scientific data and insights to be presented at global congresses and company-led medical education events. Based on a stronger-than-anticipated trajectory in the first half of the year, especially in Dermatological Skincare, Therapeutic Dermatology and Neuromodulators, Galderma is raising its net sales guidance for the full year. Net sales growth is now expected in the range of 19-21% at constant currency, up from previously 17-20%. Galderma is confirming its margin expansion expectation for the year, with a Core EBITDA margin of approximately 26% at constant currency, with the intent to continue investing behind growth opportunities in the second half.
