A Juris Doctor degree and a license in Illinois or Missouri are required.
Experience defending general liability claims, defense litigation, or workers' compensation claims is required.
Responsibilities
Litigate cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers.
Manage an individual caseload.
Draft pleadings and conduct legal research as needed.
Negotiate settlements.
Attend hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
Desired Qualifications
Both Illinois and Missouri licenses are preferred.

Successful Midwestern law firm is seeking an Attorney to handle defending and litigating general liability claims in our St. Louis, Missouri office.
Job functions include litigating cases through all phases on behalf of employers and insurers, management of individual caseload, drafting pleadings and conducting legal research as needed, negotiations for settlement, and attending hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations and other proceedings.
Qualifications
J.D. and license in Illinois or Missouri required. Both Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred.
