Requirements
  • A high school degree or GED is required.
  • At least one year of previous customer service experience is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting.
  • Clear oral communication skills are required.
  • Ability to de-escalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints is required.
  • Prior experience adhering to company policies and demonstrating core values is required.
  • The role requires repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions.
  • The role requires sedentary work, primarily sitting or remaining stationary for prolonged periods.
  • Visual perception is required, including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with clients placing meal orders.
  • Address questions and provide customer service.
  • Input order information into the appropriate client order screen.
  • Document all conversations with clients in the client information database.
  • Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file.
  • Contact case managers by telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients.
  • Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of previous call center experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience with an auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures is preferred.
