Requirements

  • A valid CCQ card at the journeyperson or apprentice level 3 is required.
  • A completed Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in plumbing and a good command of safety standards are required.
  • A Class 5 driver's licence and a good driving record are required.
  • Candidates must have legal status in Canada as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • The role requires autonomy, attention to detail, technical rigor, customer-service orientation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and install sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and water-supply and drainage systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and small residential renovation projects.
  • Advise customers and propose durable solutions.
  • Use a tablet for work orders and communication with the technical director.
  • Occasionally participate in the paid emergency on-call rotation.
