Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Effectively lead and manage supplier relationships.
  • Lead or participate in supply chain management initiatives focused on lead-time reduction, cost reduction, value engineering, quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Understand company business requirements, market dynamics and trends, the supply base, and supplier capabilities.
  • Provide problem resolution and cross-functional support for supplier escalations and supply disruptions by expediting supply recovery, including creating and presenting executive summaries to senior management.
  • Partner with manufacturing to perform capacity analysis supporting what-if scenarios, forecast changes, production growth, and growth in the spares business for the worldwide installed base of tools.
  • Perform continuity-of-supply risk assessments and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with manufacturing, design engineering, and manufacturing design engineering to ensure KLA- or supplier-initiated supply-chain relocations are successful.
  • Drive assessments of raw-parts cost, supplier quality, supplier capability and capacity during ramp-up or ramp-down, and supplier consolidation.
  • Assess and make recommendations related to inventory forecasting, inventory-receipt timing, excess and obsolete inventory reduction, and order-quantity optimization.
  • Collaborate with production planning, supply chain, and master scheduling teams to propose supply-chain solutions and strategic or tactical plans using business data, commodity insights, and product expertise.
  • Implement, manage, and coordinate supplier contracts, statements of work, service-level agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and other required supplier agreements.
  • Lead, coordinate, deploy, and manage supplier business reviews, and drive continuous improvements based on gap analysis against business requirements.
  • Drive corporate and divisional initiatives to achieve performance targets.
  • Create, implement, and drive industry and company supply-chain best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate supply-chain management best practices, policies, procedures, and internal and external compliance requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with supply chain management in any industry or with engineering/supply chain management within the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
  • Commercial aptitude.
  • A demonstrated ability and desire to constantly learn.
  • Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional, or Certified Professional in Supply Management.
  • Domestic and international travel of up to 20%.
