Responsibilities
Assist with receiving and checking deliveries against relevant orders and documentation, and identify and report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to the Storekeeper.
Safely unload, handle, and move goods to designated storage locations, ensuring items are organized and stored according to established procedures.
Ensure stock is clearly labelled and systematically arranged so items can be located when required.
Issue materials and supplies against approved requests, providing the correct items and quantities.
Accurately record incoming and outgoing stock and assist with maintaining up-to-date inventory documentation.
Assist with stock and inventory checks, report discrepancies, and monitor stock levels.
Maintain a clean, orderly store with items easy to locate.
Follow applicable health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling, appropriate equipment use, and correct storage practices.
Report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, spillages, or other potential hazards, and ensure emergency exits remain unobstructed.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Storekeeper is an entry-level role that supports the day-to-day operations of the stores function, assisting with the receipt, storage, handling, and issue of goods and materials. You will help ensure that stock is stored correctly, handled safely, and readily available when required.
Your key responsibilities will be split into the following areas:
1. Receiving and Storing Goods
