  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates with an academic focus on quantitative research in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, graduating December 2027 or Summer 2028.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to explain economic, financial, and/or accounting concepts and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
  • Experience with Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS/ArcPy, or cloud computing platforms including Databricks/Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages.
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct economic and industry research to build an understanding of a case’s issues.
  • Perform financial and economic analyses or create valuation models to support case theories.
  • Program, build models, and perform regression analyses using Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
  • Develop familiarity with data sources that serve as input to analyses.
  • Review and summarize analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade press.
  • Assist in producing and developing research summaries, expert reports, and findings presentations.
  • Ensure the reliability of analysis through quality-control review.
  • Work alongside senior colleagues to deliver live client consulting projects within the practice area.

Charles River Associates expands credit facility to $400M with six-bank syndicate

Charles River Associates has expanded its credit facility to $400 million through a six-bank lending syndicate. The five-year agreement includes a $75 million term loan and a $325 million revolving credit facility, replacing a previous $300 million facility set to mature in August 2027.
