Requirements
- Record daily care notes.
- Report any significant client changes to the agency office.
- Have car insurance.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care that supports clients' independence, including elderly clients and clients with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Perform housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry.
- Prepare meals and cook.
- Grocery shop for or with the client.
- Provide transportation and run errands.
- Assist with personal care and bathing.
- Provide companionship.
- Visit places in the community and socialize with clients.
- Engage clients in activities such as games and memory books.
- Support clients' social and behavioral functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, and safe boundaries through coaching, discussion, role-playing, and teaching.
