Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service by assisting customers with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
  • Respond to customer and employee questions and guide customers through projects when necessary.
  • Communicate information about stock, special-order merchandise, feature benefits, applications, and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.
  • Contact customers regarding deliveries or coordinate with the truck driver to call the customer.
  • Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise according to schedule.
  • Pull merchandise, build and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload limits according to delivery order.
  • Inspect products before loading them for delivery or assisting customers with loading.
  • Verify descriptions, items, model numbers, and quantities loaded by matching them against invoices.
  • Ensure loads are safe, secure, and compliant with Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Update delivery and route status in the tracking system.
  • Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
  • Verify daily vehicle inspections and reports and maintain the cleanliness, maintenance, and repair of delivery vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete Department of Transportation reporting to maintain Department of Transportation certification and commercial driver's license compliance.
  • Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks and promptly report them to management or Asset Protection.
  • Maintain housekeeping, safety, and security standards in store and work areas.
  • Operate store equipment as needed, including delivery and store communication, computing, surveillance, cutting, mixing, and baling equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience driving a semi-truck or trailer, or certification from a driving school.
  • Six months of experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service.
  • Three months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett for vehicle loading and unloading.

Retail executives indicated in earnings calls they plan to put the money back into their businesses. Consumers have filed class-action lawsuits against companies receiving refunds, but none have concluded. Americans have limited recourse to recover funds if companies don't voluntarily lower prices.

Lowe's CEO warns of cautious consumer spending amid macro and geopolitical uncertainty
