About the job
- A bachelor's degree and three years of leadership in senior housing or hospitality are preferred.
- Valid North Carolina and South Carolina state licenses are required.
- Knowledge of state regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards, and fire and safety codes is required.
- Successful leadership and financial skills are required.
- Must be able to handle conflict, problems, and emergency situations.
- Must be able to express oneself adequately in written and oral communication and communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary setting with residents, families, staff members, and representatives of community and government agencies.
- Computer skills such as Excel, Word documents, and PowerPoint are required.
- A high energy level and the ability to handle multiple priorities are required.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to senior living is required.
- A proven track record of managing multiple senior living communities is required.
- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and staff is required.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to travel regularly to assigned communities and regional office locations is required.
- Oversee daily operations of multiple senior living communities.
- Develop and implement programs to enhance quality of care and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Work collaboratively with community leaders to achieve financial goals and operational targets.
- Build positive relationships with residents, their families, and staff.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate community leaders and staff members.
- Maintain a deep understanding of senior living industry trends and best practices.
