About the Job

Requirements

  • Experience building and scaling a protective intelligence program or investigations function from an early stage, including establishing standards and processes that support organizational growth.
  • Experience conducting rigorous open-source research and threat assessments across social media, commercial databases, and public records, and distinguishing credible threats from non-threats.
  • Experience in high-threat or high-visibility environments requiring sound judgment, accurate assessments, and appropriate escalation or de-escalation.
  • Ability to write and brief clearly, translating complex and ambiguous information into decisions and next steps for executives and security leaders.
  • Experience partnering across functions, including with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Law Enforcement, on overlapping concerns while maintaining focus on protective intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end protective intelligence program, including threat intake and triage, monitoring, open-source research, case management, reporting, and dissemination to executives, security leadership, and operational teams.
  • Build and mature investigative capabilities by partnering with HR, insider threat, and cybersecurity to implement risk-based background processes and continuous monitoring.
  • Conduct threat assessments and investigations involving potentially threatening communications, open-source indicators, and commercial databases; apply structured analytic techniques to prioritize risks and recommend actions.
  • Establish a lean investigative framework that leverages departments and tools across the security organization and wider enterprise.
  • Integrate protective intelligence into hiring and onboarding decisions, visitor and vendor management, executive travel, events, and crisis response.

About the Company

FluidStack

Builds and runs GPU clusters for AI labs

Fluidstack provides large clusters of GPU servers to AI labs training advanced models, and it builds custom data centers for customers that outgrow existing facilities. In 2025, Anthropic chose Fluidstack to build data centers in Texas and New York as part of a $50 billion investment in American AI infrastructure. Labs pay for dedicated clusters of Nvidia GPUs, sometimes tens of thousands of chips, housed in partner data centers around the world. They reach the clusters through a web console or API, while Fluidstack runs the hardware, networking, and day-to-day operations. Fluidstack was founded in London in 2017 and has its headquarters in New York.
