Requirements
  • Coordinate legally required health and safety measures under the supervision of the Site Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with quality-assurance and environmental procedures for executed construction work units.
  • Organize and lead work teams, plan tasks, and meet assigned production objectives.
  • Manage construction crews and subcontractors, including communicating safety rules and addressing work-related and motivational issues.
  • Monitor compliance with occupational safety requirements and the use of personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Organize, supervise, and set out work fronts planned by the Site Manager and Production Manager.
  • Control construction personnel and subcontractors.
  • Review the materials stockpiled for planned construction work units.
  • Set weekly production objectives for the foreman based on the production program.
  • Check progress across the different work fronts.
  • Ensure the requested supplies are available for the assigned weekly work.
  • Review personnel-control reports for subcontractors and Ferrovial construction staff and submit them to the Production Manager.
  • Initiate work fronts and construction work units.
  • Verify site setting-out activities.
  • Supervise work fronts under execution.
  • Control the tools and equipment available on site for executing work units.
  • Supervise and decide on corrective actions related to compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Provide the Site Manager and administrative staff with information about incidents involving quality, health and safety, construction execution, personnel, or inspections.
  • Deliver completed foreman reports, delivery notes, and other assigned documentation.
  • Communicate work-front objectives and required documentation to the foreman.
  • Check and control the work performed by construction personnel.
  • Communicate health and safety measures and monitor compliance, particularly regarding personal protective equipment.
  • Report social or labor noncompliance involving construction personnel to the Site Manager and administrator.
