- Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Have two years of experience as a Patient Care Technician or Clinical Care Associate.
- Have six months of experience as a Patient Care Technician or Clinical Care Associate at Northside.
- Meet visual color acuity requirements depending on the role in specific units.
- Provide nursing assistance and patient care for patients' comfort, safety, and personal needs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Perform procedures for patients' physical hygiene and comfort.
- Perform duties within a unit-based, self-directed, multidisciplinary patient care team while sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed members.
- Perform general clerical and reception duties according to the needs of the patient unit or department.
- Prepare and maintain patient charts.
- Transcribe physician orders.
- Enter information into the computerized patient care system.
