  • Experience in art direction and/or design, with ideally a strong focus on consumer brands. This will include managing more than one project at once, concepting and presenting work, all the way to IRL execution, and confidently representing your craft cross functionally
  • Experience working on end to end marketing and creative campaigns, including product launches.
  • Great interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proven exceptional ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, colour theory, use of texture, art direction, visual presentation development and layout.
  • Experience directing photography, briefing and guiding creative partners and external agencies.
  • Advanced knowledge of latest design computer software.
  • Knowledge and sensitivity to trends influencing design in general, and in graphic design, fashion, and athletics specifically.
  • You must have consumer knowledge in the city and across EMEA, specifically against youth culture.
  • Experience of collaborating effectively with other functions, departments and external stakeholders – the ability to embrace change when not directly owning key workstreams.
Responsibilities
  • You will primarily obsess our @nikeLondon channel, concepting and executing ideas that bring our Nikeoffenseto life through a London youth culture & sport lens.
  • You’ll deliver ideas – from small, specific concepts to larger multi market storytelling.
  • You will own the look and feel, layout, visual language, and craft of the storytelling, collaborating with your direct team and cross functionally across each project. Central to this will be navigating a matrixed organisation with multiple stakeholders, while communicating design and art direction concepts to internal audiences and external partners.
  • You’ll be required to deliver high quality, innovative conceptual thinking at every stage of the creative process, serving up an attention to detail and knowledge of our platforms, sport and youth culture.
  • You’ll support the identification and gathering of consumer and platform insights, anchored in sports and youth culture, to allow us to better serve athletes on the ground in London and UK & Ireland – and feeding these insights back to EMEA/Global to further support our creative and strategic thinking across key campaigns.
