Requirements
  • An unencumbered registered nurse license or a bachelor's degree in a human services field qualifying the candidate as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • CPR certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • State-required behavior support training.
  • Medication administration training, or willingness to obtain it.
  • A current resume and proof of educational background, such as a diploma or transcripts, must be submitted with the application.
  • Ability to drive personal and company vehicles.
  • At least 21 years of age and at least 3 years of driving experience for driving duties.
  • A current Nevada driver's license that meets Danville's safety standards.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative leadership to ensure programs align with Danville's mission and values.
  • Ensure services provided to individuals are high-quality, person-centered, and fully compliant with applicable Danville, state, and federal regulations.
  • Promote self-determination and empower individuals receiving services to advocate for themselves.
  • Ensure each person understands their rights and is supported in exercising those rights in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
  • Respond to emergency-related calls as they arise and follow through with incident reporting.
