Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Performs in-depth market analysis, identifying trends and economic impacts to inform energy strategies.
  • Align with Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Functional Area initiatives as a Market Research Specialist that conducts in-depth research on energy markets, industrial trends, and economic developments to support regulatory and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Develops analyses, supports initiatives, and ensures alignment with project objectives. Conducts in-depth research and analysis on energy markets, economic impacts, and regulatory strategies.
  • The role may involve cross-functional collaboration and participation in high-level Department of Energy strategy discussions and may require engagement with stakeholders to ensure alignment with DOE objectives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Expertise in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (DOE Q) or related clearance.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and project management methodologies; strong leadership, time management, and communication skills as desirable capabilities.
