About the job
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- At least two years of related experience are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
- Ability to manage a high-call-volume environment accurately and efficiently is required.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines is required.
- Ability to interact collaboratively with other departments and teams is required.
- Contact patients to advise them of orders placed on their behalf, confirm demographic information, and communicate financial responsibilities or other information needed to process orders.
- Schedule discipline visits and collaborate with staff providing patient care.
- Communicate with community healthcare providers to assist in patient care.
- Maintain professional etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers.
- Comply with applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- An LPN credential is preferred.
- Experience with HCHB is a plus.
- Medical office and customer service experience are preferred.
