Requirements
  • A master's degree in Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy, special education, or behavior intervention.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles, behavior assessments, and intervention strategies.
  • Ability to train staff, analyze behavioral data, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Live Scan and tuberculosis test.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
  • Train and supervise Behavior Interventionists, Registered Behavior Technicians, and school staff.
  • Oversee intervention implementation, modify strategies based on data, and ensure treatment fidelity.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and clinical teams to support student success.
  • Maintain compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Section 504, Title 5, and Behavior Analyst Certification Board ethical standards.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program meetings, provide staff training, and document progress reports.
Desired Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
  • Experience in school-based settings and Individualized Education Program teams.
  • Familiarity with California Department of Education guidelines.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language.
