About the company

Florissant is a municipal government in St. Louis County serving more than 52,000 residents. It uses a Mayor-Council structure with a full-time mayor and nine council members, funded by taxes and fees to run services such as police, public works, Parks and Recreation, health, and online access to ordinances, records, and bill payments. It emphasizes economic development, public safety, historic preservation (notably Old Town Florissant and the St. Ferdinand Shrine), and a pro-business climate. Its goal is to deliver municipal services efficiently, support residents and businesses, preserve its historic roots, and foster a safe, thriving community.
