Approved Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology, Health and Human Services, National Credentialing Agency, American Medical Technologists, or an equivalent organization.
Previous pertinent laboratory experience with demonstrated clinical and technical competence.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, establish and accomplish objectives, function independently and under pressure, organize work to prevent delays, demonstrate critical-thinking skills, and promote collaborative problem-solving within the department and hospital-wide.
Working knowledge of laboratory concepts and applications and laboratory regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, and/or EXPERIENCE
Approved CLIA certification (ASCP, HHS, NCA, AMT, or equivalent) required. Previous pertinent laboratory experience, with demonstrated clinical and technical competence and prior supervisory experience desired.
REQUIRED LICENSES and CERTIFICATIONS
