National Account Manager - Feed
About the job
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform hands-on work.
- Ability to communicate effectively in public and with technical specialists, procurement officers, and senior management within customer organizations.
- Experience selling or supporting technical solutions, preferably within the feed industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Practical experience communicating effectively, orally and in writing, according to the needs of the audience.
- Residence in the United States, preferably in the Waterloo, Iowa area.
- Willingness to travel extensively, up to 50%.
- Sell all CPM products, including equipment, parts, and service, to select feed customers across the United States and Canada.
- Manage feed customer accounts in alignment with customer, market segment, and CPM strategies.
- Provide intensive technical support to customers, including equipment sizing, system and process evaluation, design review, and product training.
- Identify and understand customers' technical requirements and connect them with CPM products and solutions.
- Coordinate proposal development and technology offerings with internal sales operations and technical teams.
- Interact with team members and other strategic business partners.
- Report market developments and potential new industry opportunities to management and colleagues.
- Define and champion commercial efforts for the CPM product line in the North American feed market.
- Build expertise in CPM equipment, including CPM, Roskamp, Champion, and Bliss brands, oilseed processing, and the oilseed market.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Experience selling or supporting technical solutions within the feed industry.
- Residence in the Waterloo, Iowa area.
