About the job
- Must have a PILB/Guard Card.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must have open availability.
- Periodically stop and patrol different areas of the lot to maintain visibility and deter criminal activity.
- Verify that individuals entering the facility have proper identification and access passes, such as badges, cards, or visitor passes.
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras around the gate area to identify suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, or security breaches.
- Check identification, vehicle registration, or other access-control protocols to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter or exit the lot.
- Keep a detailed log of trucks entering or leaving the premises, including company name, driver name, truck ID number, cargo type, and delivery or pick-up details.
- Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering, or signs of illegal activities such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
- Immediately report security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document incidents thoroughly.
- Previous experience in security is preferred.
