Electronic Security Project Manager
About the job
- Previous project management experience in the electronic security systems field.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work meets i2G Systems and stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to read and understand security system drawings and familiarity with electrical and civil drawing packages.
- Experience managing integration engineers who program electronic security systems, including access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and closed-circuit television systems.
- Ability to maintain project equipment inventory, red-line drawings, and quality.
- Ability to assist with creating proposals as needed.
- Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, SimPro, or Smartsheet.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- At least 5 years of experience with electronic security systems is required.
- Lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors installing access control, intrusion detection, closed-circuit television, intercom, and other low-voltage systems.
- Coordinate and oversee multiple projects with local engineering, sales, and technical staff.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and maintain communication with customers and team members to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple projects.
- Report job status, schedule updates, risk mitigation steps, changes, and material needs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead Senior/Lead Technicians, Junior Technicians, and subcontractors.
- Direct experience with Lenel, Axis, Software House, and Verint training certifications is highly desired but not required.
- Training and certifications in the listed product lines are preferred.
- Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
