  • Experience managing and interpreting account-level profit and loss.
  • Applicants must not have worked directly as an employee of OXXO, 7-Eleven, Círculo K, or a pharmacy chain; supplier-side experience is required rather than retailer-side experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret Power BI, Tableau, and/or Nielsen data.

  • Own relationships and growth strategy with convenience chains and pharmacies.
  • Negotiate joint business plans with modern retail and club chains, including exclusivities and launches.
  • Manage new stock-keeping-unit onboarding and formula updates in the proximity channel while ensuring no negative shelf impact.
  • Manage inventory and forecasting for small-box accounts in collaboration with sales and operations planning through collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment.
  • Set the point-of-sale visit strategy and manage promotion and merchandising vendors.
  • Develop account-specific strategies to maximize value and identify cross-selling opportunities, focusing on proximity and convenience.
  • Negotiate agreements, contracts, and prices directly with key customers in proximity, modern retail, and club channels.
  • Periodically analyze account performance and present results to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service.
  • Search for, hire, and manage promotion and merchandising vendors.
  • Process vendor payments.
  • During the first 90 days, diagnose the portfolio by account, propose a wellness portfolio balance, initiate cataloging in priority accounts, and design and agree on an inventory collaborative-planning process.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree.
  • Experience with SAP or SAI for orders, invoicing, collections, and returns.
  • Knowledge of sales and operations planning or collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment.

About the company

Birdman is a Tokyo-listed creative and business solutions firm with two divisions: Marketing Transformation (MX) and Entertainment Transformation (EX). MX delivers end-to-end services from strategy and branding to product development using technologies like IoT and AI, along with market research, UI/UX design, campaigns, and PR, without relying on a single media channel. EX, launched in 2021, expands into entertainment by organizing large events and managing artists, including interactive experiences such as the 5D LIVE. The company differentiates itself by uniting advertising and entertainment under one roof and leveraging in-house production from its BIRDMAN acquisition to create cross-market opportunities for both B2B and B2C growth.
