  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with professionals and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage change while prioritising service-user needs.
  • Understanding of information governance processes and ability to apply necessary safeguards.
  • Successful completion of enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checking and police, probation, and prison vetting clearance.
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in the United Kingdom; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive assessment and case management services to a caseload of offenders with complex needs.
  • Facilitate groups for the Foundations of Rehabilitation programme to support successful desistance from offending.
  • Support Community Order Treatment Requirements for service users involved in the Criminal Justice System, including Drug Rehabilitation Requirements, Alcohol Treatment Requirements, Rehabilitation Action Requirements, Integrated Offender Management, the Test on Arrest Programme, and people released from prison into the community.
  • Engage service users through psychosocial interventions to reduce disengagement, harm, and associated criminal activity.
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, recovery planning, and referrals.
  • Build partnerships with the National Probation Service, courts, and prison teams.
  • Mitigate substance misuse-related harm, reduce reoffending, and guide transitions from custody to community treatment providers.
  • Reduce drug- and alcohol-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Encourage involvement from carers, service users, and the community.
  • Support service users in accessing partnership services.
  • Assist social reintegration and promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
