About the job

Requirements
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field; the French qualifications specify an engineering degree or equivalent Master's or doctorate.
  • Expert-level mastery of commercial simulation software such as Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or equivalent, with 15+ years of hands-on experience in thermal management and cooling solutions, either running simulations or working as a technical account manager for commercial physics simulation software.
  • Deep familiarity with semiconductor electronics packaging, advanced packaging technologies such as 2.5D/3D IC, or foundry ecosystems.
  • Prior experience in dedicated customer-facing roles, with the ability to build trust and manage engineering client relationships.
  • Practical programming experience using Python or C++ to automate workflows or parse simulation data.
  • A proven record of managerial or technical leadership experience, with the ability to scale, mentor, and drive execution across engineering teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex physics and simulation results clearly and effectively to technical panels and business-oriented executives.
Responsibilities
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing team of thermal engineers by setting technical direction, hiring and mentoring team members, and driving field execution across Europe.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to lead technical discussions, scope proof-of-concept evaluations, and deliver product demonstrations to prospective enterprise customers.
  • Guide customer engineering teams through evaluations by overseeing simulation setup, running complex test cases, and interpreting results to demonstrate the platform's technical and business value.
  • Own customer enablement through onboarding, deployment, and account expansion, providing senior technical guidance, structured training, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Provide product guidance and feedback, identify customer pain points and workflow bottlenecks, and partner with product and engineering teams to translate field feedback into product features.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and semiconductor events through technical presentations and live platform demonstrations for prospects and partners.
  • Maintain understanding of competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning to communicate the platform's differentiators.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations, including finite element analysis and stress, and/or electrical signal integrity and power integrity workflows.
  • Direct experience commercializing technical software, ideally electronic design automation or computer-aided engineering simulation tools, into major semiconductor and electronics enterprises.
  • Prior experience in technical presales, field application engineering, or strategic technical sales.
  • Ability to adopt and champion next-generation physics-based workflows and artificial-intelligence-assisted design or simulation tools.

About the company

VINCI is a global leader in concessions, energy, and construction. It handles large-scale infrastructure projects by planning, designing, and building facilities such as roads, bridges, buildings, and energy systems, and it also operates long-term concessions (like toll roads or airports) to manage and maintain these assets. Unlike many peers, VINCI combines construction capabilities with asset management and energy services across more than 100 countries, offering integrated solutions from project delivery to ongoing operation. Its differences come from its breadth of services, its ability to manage long-term infrastructure assets, and its commitment to sustainable development. VINCI’s goal is to build the future by delivering durable infrastructure and services that support economic growth and environmental stewardship.
