About the job
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales is required; automotive experience is preferred.
- A BE/BTech in electronics or electrical engineering is preferred.
- A good grasp of English and Hindi is required.
- Ability to manage business accounts using appropriate customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, and relevant tools is required.
- Interest in the automotive or electric vehicle industry is required.
- Ability to act as a self-starter, work with numbers and details, and use an analytical approach to problem-solving is required.
- Acquire new clients to expand the business, grow the customer base, and gain market share; key performance indicators include order book growth and revenue.
- Lead commercial negotiations and price settlement, ensuring profitability by maintaining minimum gross margins.
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned customers and commercial account management matters.
- Build and present sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including vice presidents, Quality, PPC, Finance, Research and Development, and Supply Chain Management, for smooth and timely project execution.
- Represent the customer within the organization and act as a primary client contact to support customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Identify new market opportunities beyond automotive for company expansion.
- Develop and execute business development strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Automotive sales experience is preferred.
- Understanding of electric mobility in APAC and the European Union is preferred.
