Requirements
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position; work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
  • Four years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Hanford issues and vocabulary (preferred).
  • Travel as coordinated with the Technical Point of Contact and Contracting Officer is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations; participation in regular meetings typically by phone to save time and costs; monthly travel may be necessary to participate in HNRTC, Technical Work Group and other project meetings.
  • Location: Work will be conducted at DOE offices or other locations in Richland, WA, at trust organization locations (e.g., Olympia, Portland, Spokane, Lewiston), at the contractor’s office, or other location to be specified by DOE or the Council.
  • Core competencies and related business tools requirements include proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Taking notes during meetings.
  • Capturing key discussion points to create a record of the meetings.
  • Assisting the Facilitator in preparing for Council meetings.
  • Coordinating logistics.
