- Safely transport freight between various locations over long distances while adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform equipment inspections before and after each trip to identify safety or mechanical issues.
- Plan routes to avoid traffic, delays, and unnecessary tolls and ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate professionally with customers about delivery times and other arrangements, including obtaining signatures upon delivery.
- Ensure customer receiving teams unload only the number of items listed on the bill of lading and notify the Logistics Manager of any issues.
- Ensure each load is secured before departing for the next stop to prevent damage.
- Follow all WinTech Logistics policies.
- Five or more years of experience.
- Hazardous materials endorsement.
