About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ETL Tester/Lead to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive testing strategies for our ETL processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, design test plans, and implement automated testing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ETL tools and architecture, database systems, and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of ETL testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality test execution.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate ETL processes and data transformations.
Perform data validation, data integrity, and data quality testing to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Utilize ETL tools, databases, Hadoop, AWS, and SQL to perform testing activities.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing solutions, including UiPath Bot testing.
Maintain and improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular updates on testing progress and identify potential risks and issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in ETL testing, with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of ETL tools and architecture, such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
Proficiency in database systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
Experience with Hadoop and related technologies, such as Hive, Pig, or Spark.
Experience with AWS cloud services, such as S3, EC2, and Redshift.
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA.
Understanding of testing concepts, including test plans, test scripts, and test strategies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to adapt to client's processes and work in a dynamic environment.
Immediate joiners preferred.
