Requirements
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in a health care environment is preferred but not required.
- Floor care experience, such as buffing and waxing, is preferred.
- The role requires the ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide general maintenance services, including repairing indoor and outdoor equipment.
- Conduct bi-weekly checks and repairs of air purifiers, ice machines, and showers.
- Conduct monthly or quarterly checks of larger equipment, including HVAC filter belts, air curtains, kitchen vents, and dryer traps.
- Ensure fire safety equipment, including alarms, exit signs and lights, and fire extinguishers, is functioning.
- Keep floors, shower rooms, cupboards, and beds clean and disinfected, and perform regular cleaning and repairs as needed.
- Clean bathrooms, laundry rooms, the front desk, offices, and therapy areas.
- Launder, repair, and replace member linens as needed.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and odor-free member activity areas and clinical spaces.
- Separate and clean soiled and contaminated linens using a system.
