Requirements
  • Two or more years of retail management experience.
  • Availability to work 15–20 hours per week.
  • Exceptional leadership, selling, and customer service skills.
  • Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
  • A proven record of hiring and developing talent.
  • Experience with coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and reach overhead, bend, squat, and kneel while organizing and stocking inventory.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service while implementing loss prevention practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and perform store maintenance tasks.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and retaining talent.
  • Support the Store Manager in creating and maintaining a succession strategy.
  • Foster strong communication and teamwork to balance operational, visual, and customer priorities.
  • Administer performance appraisals, set goals, and conduct consistent touch-bases with direct reports.
  • Cultivate an environment of genuine customer connection.
  • Demonstrate exceptional service and act as a brand ambassador reflecting company values.
  • Facilitate an energized pace, positive service environment, and team development.
  • Deliver product services including branding, debossing, boot stretching, brim shaping, and boot shines.
  • Implement omnichannel processes and use tools to better serve customers.
  • Facilitate the sharing of product knowledge.
  • Uphold stock-to-sales processes and presentation standards, and manage product placement.
  • Maintain the store structure, floor plan, and appropriate fixture usage.
  • Ensure compliance with shipment, transfer, and restock standards.
  • Uphold and develop awareness of internal and external loss prevention procedures.
  • Set clear objectives and expectations to drive a consistent store experience and strong operational and visual standards.
  • Encourage and demonstrate adaptability to help the team execute a shared vision.
