About the job

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience designing and operating agentic workflows and pipelines, including multi-step agent orchestration, tool use, evaluation, and governance.
  • Experience working in modern development teams practicing GitOps and continuous integration and continuous delivery.
  • Working knowledge of grounded artificial intelligence patterns, including retrieval-augmented generation, context engineering, structured outputs, and evaluation and observability for large language model systems.
  • Software engineering fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python, with comfort working in Angular or React frontends and Express web applications.
  • Alignment with continuous delivery practices emphasizing small batches, fast feedback, blameless learning, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to explain an agentic architecture to engineers and its return on investment to executives.

Responsibilities
  • Build and operate an agentic software development lifecycle pipeline covering planning, code generation, review, testing, documentation, and release, integrated with GitOps and continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure.
  • Improve developer experience by integrating coding agents, automated review, intelligent test generation, and self-service tooling into the engineering workflow.
  • Build retrieval-grounded and context-aware artificial intelligence systems that produce reliable, verifiable results, and design evaluation harnesses to validate them.
  • Define and implement governance policies, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, audit trails, and security controls for responsible adoption of agentic artificial intelligence.
  • Turn successful approaches into repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and internal platforms that extend agentic acceleration beyond engineering.
  • Teach and support artificial intelligence adoption across the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with agent frameworks and protocols such as LangGraph/LangMem, Claude Agent SDK, Model Context Protocol, and OpenAI Agents.
  • Experience with artificial intelligence coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, and Cursor.
  • Experience building developer platforms, internal tooling, or platform engineering and developer experience functions.
  • Experience with DORA-style delivery metrics and engineering analytics.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence governance frameworks such as the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and secure software development lifecycle practices.
