About the job
- A first experience in hotel reception is desired, ideally in a chain hotel.
- Professional English is required to welcome an international clientele; an additional foreign language is appreciated.
- Training in hospitality, tourism, reception, or customer relations is appreciated, including CAP/Bac Pro, BTS MHR, or equivalent training.
- Proficiency in reception, reservation, billing, and payment-collection techniques is required.
- Good proficiency with computer tools is required; knowledge of OPERA Cloud is an advantage.
- Excellent presentation and a strong sense of welcome and customer service are required.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and manage priorities during busy periods.
- Rigor in following procedures and tracking payments and customer information is required.
- The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with housekeeping, food service, technical, and management departments.
- Availability and schedule flexibility are required for rotating morning and evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to promote hotel services and the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program are required.
- Knowledge of Accor/Ibis Styles standards and procedures is an advantage.
- The candidate must be able to clean rooms and common areas in accordance with the role standards and brand requirements.
- Welcome hotel guests in person and by telephone professionally, courteously, and warmly.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out in accordance with establishment procedures and Ibis Styles standards.
- Manage individual reservations, including creation, modification, cancellation, and follow-up.
- Inform and advise guests about hotel services, available amenities, and the local area.
- Monitor guests’ stays and handle their requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle first-level complaints and escalate situations requiring a manager’s intervention.
- Process billing and payments and verify payment methods.
- Control and monitor the cash register according to internal procedures.
- Track arrivals, departures, no-shows, and special requests.
- Coordinate daily with housekeeping, food service, technical, and management departments.
- Transmit instructions and information needed for service continuity.
- Promote the ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and the establishment’s services.
- Contribute to revenue growth by presenting hotel services and making additional sales.
- Follow internal procedures, brand standards, and safety and confidentiality rules.
- Work rotating morning, daytime, evening, and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, according to business needs.
- Knowledge of a hotel property-management system, particularly OPERA Cloud.
- A first experience in hotel reception, ideally in a chain hotel.
- A second foreign language.
- Knowledge of Accor/Ibis Styles standards and procedures.
