Install, inspect, and service dry chemical, clean agent, and special hazard fire suppression systems.
Inspect and replace fire suppression tanks, cartridges, and control unit batteries.
Perform semi-annual system maintenance, including checking hoses, discharge lines, nozzles, and detection loops.
Maintain data logs and control unit information.
Conduct electronic and manual actuator testing to ensure proper functionality.
Travel regionally, with overnight stays required for up to one week at a time.
Communicate daily with site planners and use company time-tracking and field service applications.

About the Role
As a Fire Suppression Technician, you will inspect, maintain, and service heavy equipment fire suppression systems—primarily in the mining industry. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates an aptitude and desire to build a career in fire protection.
