Ability to conduct occasional travel to job sites or client meetings.
Ability to work occasional extended hours during peak project periods or to meet critical deadlines.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to understand the scope of work.
Conduct on-site visits to gather information about project conditions and constraints.
Complete takeoffs and prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates that consider materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Provide input on value engineering opportunities.
Use cost databases, historical data, and industry benchmarks to improve estimate accuracy.
Develop comprehensive bid proposals outlining the scope of work, cost breakdown, and necessary qualifications.
Collaborate with the bid team to ensure proposals align with project requirements.
Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing.
Identify and assess potential risks that may affect project costs.
Propose risk mitigation strategies to support project financial success.
Work with sales, project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to refine project requirements.
Communicate to align team members on cost estimates and project goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:
As a Mechanical Estimator at Airo Mechanical, you will play a pivotal role in our construction and project management processes. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze project specifications, gather necessary data, and produce accurate cost estimates.
