What believers are saying

  • Work arrangements span several formats: Purple uses office, hybrid, and remote environments across its land services teams.
  • Specialist work extends underground: Purple handles pore-space ownership and leases for carbon storage projects.
  • Degrees broaden contractor entry: Purple's Permian title role considers law or energy-management degrees instead of some experience.

What critics are saying

  • Employee status is role-specific: Purple lists both employee jobs and independent-contractor engagements.
  • Title research carries production pressure: Purple expects its Permian title landman to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Project leadership involves travel: Purple ties periodic trips to client and project needs in its land manager role.

What makes Purple Land Management unique

  • Pricing includes fixed bids: Purple quotes predictable project structures alongside customized land services.
  • Project maps combine private and public records: Purple builds custom data layers inside its proprietary Overdrive platform.
  • Managers own delivery: Purple project land managers control staffing plans, budgets, schedules, and client communication.
