About the company

Bank of America runs one of the largest US banks, serving consumers, small businesses, wealthy families, corporations and institutional investors. BofA raises SpaceX price target to $275, implying 73% upside

Bank of America has raised its price target on SpaceX to $275 from $235 and kept its Buy rating. The target is 73% above the stock's October 21 close. SpaceX shares remain more than 25% below their June closing high of $201.80, even after an 8% rise on third-quarter results. Revenue jumped 161% to $14.6 billion, and management guided to $33 billion to $37 billion in the first quarter of 2027. BofA named Starship's Flight 15, expected next month, as the next big catalyst. Success could support weekly launches in the first half of 2027, it said. The target implies about 88x forward earnings, against 51x now. Capex was $19.6 billion in the third quarter, and management expects $35 billion to $40 billion in the fourth.

Watsco signs $750M five-year unsecured credit facility, extending existing revolver

Watsco, the largest distributor in the North American HVAC market, has signed a $750 million unsecured senior revolving credit facility. Bank of America led the deal, joined by JPMorgan Chase, PNC Bank, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank and five other banks. The five-year facility amends and extends Watsco's existing credit line. An initial draw repaid $69.7 million owed under the prior facility. Further borrowings will fund working capital, acquisitions, dividends and other general purposes. The terms include more borrowing capacity, covenant flexibility and better fit with the seasonal nature of Watsco's working capital needs. "A committed source of low-cost debt is an important building block of our growth strategy," said Barry S. Logan, executive vice president.

BofA raises Western Digital target to $800 despite slower capacity growth

Bank of America (BofA) raised its Western Digital price target to $800 from $720 on October 21, even as it cut its forecast for storage-capacity shipment growth. Analyst Wamsi Mohan expects fiscal first-quarter exabyte shipments to rise 21% from a year earlier, below management's longer-term target of about 25%. He expects average price per terabyte to rise 24%, as demand for hard drives still exceeds supply. BofA raised its fiscal 2027 earnings estimate to $22.37 per share from $19.17. It applies a lower 16-times earnings multiple, down from 19. Western Digital reports results on October 22. BofA expects revenue of $4.22 billion and adjusted earnings of $4.29 per share. Shares closed at $378.51 on October 21, up 3.89%.

Bank of America flags $300B Google capex bill for 2027 as AI spending soars

Bank of America expects Alphabet to spend about $301 billion on capital expenditure in 2027, up from $199 billion in 2026, as it builds data centres and AI chips. For the third quarter, the bank forecasts negative free cash flow of $12.4 billion, against about $3.9 billion expected by other analysts.
