Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Stan Lequin led Insight’s AI First transformation, bringing consulting scale discipline from April 2026.
  • Fidus now serves 500-plus customers across semiconductors, aerospace, and medical devices.
  • Ongoing partner ecosystem expansion supports cross-selling into FPGA, embedded AI, and machine-vision projects.

What critics are saying

  • Catchment’s 2025 majority buyout demands faster growth, and Stan Lequin starts April 6, 2026.
  • Services revenue depends on project wins; one missed renewal can quickly compress utilization.
  • If AMD or Intel shifts partner priorities, Fidus loses a core differentiation moat.

What makes Fidus Systems unique

  • AMD’s 2023 Partner of the Year recognition validates deep FPGA specialization.
  • Fidus has North America’s largest AMD-certified FPGA engineer bench and early silicon access.
  • Partnerships with Intel, Altera, Lattice, Microchip, Analog Devices, and MathWorks broaden reach.
