An associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or graduation from an accredited school of radiation sciences is required.
Must be licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
Current CPR certification is required.
Responsibilities
Perform X-ray and CT exams according to established protocols; adjust equipment controls and use immobilization devices to capture optimum views.
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety, monitor patient comfort via intercom or direct observation, and administer contrast media as directed.
Practice As Low As Reasonably Achievable techniques, use pediatric-specific techniques, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
Manage orders within the Radiology Information System/Picture Archiving and Communication System; verify patient name, date of birth, and laterality; and use DICOM send to deliver images to radiologists for interpretation.
Work cooperatively with hospital staff and maintain professional interpersonal relationships while reflecting the hospital’s R.I.S.E. core values.
Perform CT warm-ups and quality assurance, document contrast incubator temperatures, and maintain the security of emergency medicine cabinets.
Be available for shifts outside the scheduled shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays; participate in a rotating call schedule if required.

Description

We are seeking a Radiologic & CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic procedures with minimal supervision. In this role, you will ensure patient safety and clinical excellence across multiple departments, including the Emergency Department, Surgery, ICU, and inpatient floors.

As a Radiology Technologist with us, you will:
