Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair machinery and heavy equipment used in company operations, including drilling rigs, cranes, concrete pumps, fuel tanks, and other support machinery.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and resolve them to return equipment to proper working condition.
Assist with tearing down, rebuilding, refurbishing, and restoring machinery and components throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Clean, inspect, and prepare machines for field use, ensuring equipment is functional, safe, and ready for the job.
Work alongside other mechanics to maintain, repair, and upkeep equipment, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard environment.
Perform routine service and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend the life of company equipment.
Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and work performed on machinery and equipment.

What You’ll Do:
As the Yard Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing machinery at our Harpersville yard. Your primary responsibilities include:
· Equipment Maintenance: Service, maintain, and repair our machines and heavy equipment used in company operations, including drilling rigs, cranes, concrete pumps, fuel tanks, and other support machinery.
· Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and work through problems to return equipment to proper working conditions.
