Receptionist/Service Associate
About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Must be able to work individually or in a team environment.
- Must be capable of performing multiple functional tasks and willing to cross-train for other job functions.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 55 pounds and have reliable transportation.
- Pick up, sort, and deliver mail; sign for and account for overnight mail deliveries and ensure delivery to the recipient.
- Provide front desk reception coverage, including answering phones and directing calls.
- Set up and break down meetings.
- Maintain general housekeeping of all conference rooms.
- Manage kitchen supplies by ordering and restocking them.
- Coordinate internal building moves.
- Respond to, coordinate, and submit building-related issues with property management or outside contractors.
- A college degree is a plus and may allow a fast-track plan to management.
- Experience in reception or office services is a plus.
