Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree with 0–2 years of experience, or commensurate experience.
  • Clearance is required: Secret.
  • Relevant professional experience sufficient to meet or exceed applicable contract labor-category requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience developing interactive multimedia or web-based training products.
  • Experience using interactive authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or comparable software.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5 and web-based development technologies.
  • Experience with SCORM packaging, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online course deployment.
  • Experience translating instructional storyboards and specifications into functional multimedia products.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary development environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple production assignments and deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust access necessary to access Navy networks and training systems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop interactive multimedia training products from approved instructional scripts and storyboards.
  • Build IMI Level 2 and higher interactive training solutions using modern multimedia authoring environments.
  • Develop interactive courseware using tools such as Adobe Captivate and comparable development platforms.
  • Create and modify native HTML5 content to support customized instructional interactions and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead to develop technically complex multimedia and web-based training solutions.
  • Integrate multimedia training products with Government Learning Management Systems.
  • Package and validate courseware in accordance with SCORM requirements.
  • Prepare training products for Government Content Acceptance Testing.
  • Troubleshoot SCORM, LMS, browser, multimedia, and technical integration issues.
  • Conduct technical testing and quality assurance of interactive courseware prior to submission.
  • Ensure training products function consistently across required environments and platforms.
  • Implement revisions resulting from internal QA, Government review, testing, and subject-matter-expert feedback.
  • Work closely with Instructional Designers to ensure multimedia implementation accurately reflects approved instructional objectives and storyboards.
  • Maintain configuration control of multimedia source files and associated development assets.
  • Support graphics, animation, interactive media, software, and other digital training requirements as assigned.
  • Meet established production schedules while maintaining high technical and visual quality standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting U.S. Navy, Department of Defense, or Federal Government training programs.
  • Experience developing IMI Level 2 or higher interactive courseware.
  • Experience supporting Government Content Acceptance Testing or comparable Government courseware acceptance testing.
  • Familiarity with NAVEDTRA training development requirements.
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, CSS, or other web-development technologies.
  • Experience creating or integrating graphics, animations, simulations, audio, video, or 3D media.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, browser compatibility, and online training technical standards.
  • Experience working within formal quality-assurance and configuration-management processes.
