  • Experience with classified programs.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for DCAA/DCMA; maintain FAR/DFARS/CAS-compliant policies, internal controls, and the accounting system; respond to audits and drive corrective actions.

  • Ensure accurate project setup according to contracts, CLINs, terms, and purchase orders; monitor funding, limitations of funds and cost, burn rates, backlog, revenue and margin, and estimate-to-complete/estimate-at-completion; optimize invoicing and support contract modifications and closeouts.
  • Partner with the VP of Finance and Delivery to build budgets and forecasts; develop indirect expense budgets and rate forecasts; connect backlog and pipeline to staffing; track utilization and indirect staffing; run scenario models for mix, volume, and investments.
  • Support proposal pricing with indirect rates and accounting inputs; prepare certified cost or pricing data when applicable; align pricing with accounting practices; support fact-finding, negotiations, and audits.
Desired Qualifications
  • Cost-plus/reimbursable contract experience.
  • Experience scaling accounting infrastructure for a growing defense contractor with a mix of government and commercial revenue.
  • Subsidiary/intercompany accounting, CAS-covered environments and Disclosure Statements, and mergers and acquisitions or enterprise resource planning transformation experience.
  • EVMS exposure; advanced Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and resource-planning tools.
  • Ability to translate complex government-contracting requirements for program teams, build scalable systems and controls, maintain integrity and confidentiality across classified/CUI environments, and understand how accounting decisions affect compliance, rates, pricing, billing, profitability, and execution.
